To help create an even more robust business for a buyer, the vendor has recently recruited an extremely experienced and skilled fabrication expert from the industry to add additional skills to the business. The business operates from a purpose-built 1,000 sqm facility, ideally located in close proximity to its key clients. It has built a solid reputation for delivering high-quality workmanship while maintaining competitive pricing within the market.
The current owner manages the estimating function, which is supported by established systems and processes. This function involves responding to RFQs using the custom-built in-house software, sourcing the right materials at prices that maintain strong margins and co-ordinating third-party activities such as painting, galvanising and the application of wear-resistant surfaces etc.
With these skills already in place and independent of the owner, a purchaser wishing to work in the business may wish to focus on other areas of the business, including business development, financial management, or learn these skills during the transition to be a backup in the office as and when required.

With all skills now in place, the owner feels that a handover could be provided very quickly but recognises that a buyer may wish for a longer period.
The vendor will provide a 3-month handover on a reducing basis of 4 days per week in month 1, 3 days per week in month 2 and 2 days per week in month 3.
Any on-site time will be charged at an hourly rate, while email or phone support will be provided at no cost.
Consideration will also be given to continuing with the business in a Consultancy capacity beyond the handover period.
Asking Price: $1,950,000 plus stock(approx $20,000). The price is non-negotiable. Vendor finance, retention or an earn-out will not be considered, as the vendor feels the asking price is extremely fair as set.
