It is all easily transportable, ready for you to pick up and sell wherever you like: online and/or to a street-based shop.
Our bookshop (selling second-hand books) has been operating since 2016 as a bricks-and-mortar shop, then only online since Covid. Personal commitments have arisen that require all our attention and time and so we offer our business for sale to other book-lovers.
We have over 20,000 second-hand books in good to excellent condition. About 75% are on a database (available as an Excel spreadsheet) and all range from contemporary fiction to valuable old/collectable titles.
Books are priced in pencil, and all have been cleaned. Approximate total retail sales value (of the 75% on the database) = $252,000. Add those that are not on the database and the combined financial return to you when you sell them will be much more.
Our shelving is the best quality - all steel and adjustable. The shelving includes hand-made silky-oak timber bay ends, giving your store fit-out a professional and quality look.
All your point-of-sale needs are provided including over 35 handmade silky-oak timber upright book displays for your shop windows and display tables, cash register, signage and equipment, spare stock, and more.
We have a vibrant Shopify website (currently offline), set up to sell about 25% of the databased books. This website, with over 3,500 titles and images is included in the sale price and can be transferred.
Please note: The photos show the business when set up in-store. The bookshop is now packed up, ready for pick-up to your desired location.
