Family owned and operated for 29 years, based in northern Italy. We have run tours to most parts of Italy, France & Spain. We have followed many different bike races, including the Tour de France, Giro d'Italia, La Vuelta Espana and World Championships. Our calendar has also included many other 'lifestyle' tours, to Sicily, Corsica, Sardinia, South of Rome, Tuscany, Appenines, Dolomites, Lombardia, Piedmonte, French and Italian Climbs (and sometimes combine tours of the above).
Can be run by two people, but there are always many willing volunteers available, to help you out. This business has been fantastic for my wife and I, and our 14yo daughter but its time for us to stay home for winter! Its a fabulous way to pay for your overseas trips and all your cycling related expenses. A true lifestyle business, seasonal work with downtime in great locations. Over 29 years the business has paid us well and set us up well financially. Forget about a bike shop, and all the hours involved, working weekends, bad payers etc. With Topbike all your clients will pay in advance.

The Italian property is in a 100+ year old building. It is two levels connected by a common use stair case. Each level can be used as an apartment, but it is on one title. We currently live upstairs whilst between tours (bedroom, bathroom/laundry, Kitchen/living). Downstairs is used for bicycle storage/mechanical works but can also sleep two people we use this for staff accommodation. The property is basic but in a lovely location by a stream with a cool breeze in summer evenings.
The French garage is a former stable in the historic centre of Le Bourg d’Oisans (base of Alpe d’Huez, France). It is stone in construction and the ground level is entirely lockable with an original vaulted ceiling. We use this property for storage between tours only. It has power, and is close to all services.
