I am looking to retire. The recent death of my brother has changed things for me a lot. I am willing to let these assets go at a great price. I am even willing to give the buyer 30 days of my time to help get a new person trained in this business.
This business used to be much bigger in 2016. The business made just under a million that year, but I operate it myself and was getting worn out. We were not using the internet very much and had some very poor guidance in that "online presence" back then. That is changing fast with respect to this new internet presence we are developing today. We are already seeing growth just because of the name change. With a good marketing team this business could skyrocket again. This is a fairly easy business in a very popular industry.
This is two business for sale under one umbrella corporation. As I stated, we are changing a lot with respect to the internet . I hired a team to help capture a better name for google analytics for both the construction side and the wholesale side of the business.The original companies are still operational but the google analytics were so poor we got pigeonholed by google in a category that was not allowing traction. I learned a big lesson about Google and how they operate. The new developer suggested this internet move and shifting the old company to this new and better strategy. They are overseas but I have direct contact with them. Very in expensive for web developing overseas. I got a gal who was the top in her class in marketing. Also picked up a creative writer and a programmer. Very good team!
Some of the assets included are:
1. Landscape company with all the trucks, trailers, tools, marketing booths and materials.
2. Wholesale supply Artificial grass business with all the racks, the turf in stock, $40k cutting machine, infill, spikes, adhesive, website currently being revamped, cars, very inexpensive rent.
3. All the office equipment you should need for both.
This is probably one of the best and fastest growing business in the country right now.
As I stated earlier, We are building a new website right now. What we are changing is in our ability to sell online orders. We are also opening up to selling outside of our organization. These are huge changes for the better. We have the name for a better marketing presence that rates a 9 on Google analytics. We have full time web developer overseas that I visit on a regular basis. They are really good and very inexpensive. I would suggest a new buyer get involved with us to increase understanding of the industry and add a marketing person or team to really increase the business fast.
Both companies run out of the same location with two separate entry doors. Makes the rent very inexpensive by operating that way.
I am willing to give 30 days of my time for free to help. We can discuss a consulting basis after that if needed. I am probably one of the most knowledgeable people in this industry,can outwork the installers and probably in the top 5 best salesmen in southern California.
I want to stay and sell occasionally to make commissions for the next three years or so.
I love this business and everything it does for our environment and water savings.
Currently, we are going to continue operating and growing this business until it is sold. The more we grow, obviously, the higher the price we will be asking for it.
I have been on the DIY network many times and am willing to continue that on a consulting basis if needed. It does cost for you to participate in shows. They like my knowledge, stage presence and voice. You can greatly benefit from that.

There is competition but we are one of the only American made companies out there. Our new pricing should make a huge change. Why would anyone buy cheap Chinese turf when they can buy American for the same price.
