History
It started in Brisbane, 2014 when we noticed a major gap in the cafe market - the casual shopper was limited to uninspiring coffee shops with a generic cake offering in shopping malls and retail areas. To take full advantage of the this opportunity we created Passiontree Velvet. We had a vision of introducing the elegance of English high tea, Parisian patisserie and Belgian chocolate to Australian shoppers.
We have now created a world of edible luxury. We have a professional brand, established locations throughout Queensland and New South Wales, and an indulgent product range. This is not your average cafe, this is pure indulgence.

At Passiontree Velvet we have refined how we carry out business. You will be supported by strong operational efficiency. By controlling the entire supply chain we are able to make each business unit run smoothly and efficiently. All patisserie items and chocolates are made in our central kitchen by professional chefs and we have made the transportation of these delicate items to each store smooth and effective.
Marketing Support
As a Passiontree Velvet franchisee, you will benefit from being a part of a business that stands out from the rest. Passiontree Velvet is a well established brand that is attractive and beautifully presented. Corporate marketing activities are designed to spread awareness for the Passiontree Velvet brand.
We currently have over 2,000 Facebook followers and over 7,500 instagram followers, and our online presence is always growing. Our digital marketing is an effective at driving customers to our stores.
Training Provided
We have refined our training processes so that we know exactly what a franchisee needs to know to get started. We will take you through a comprehensive training program within an existing store so that you are ready to succeed as soon as your business is operational
If you wish, you can undertake additional coffee training as an extra. You will be given the opportunity to shadow a competition grade barista.

We are looking for franchisees with charisma and charm. People who have an appreciation for detail and a flare for providing exceptional service. Ideal candidates will be efficient, hold a high standard of integrity and most of all, have a passion to run their own successful business.
As a franchisee you will not need to have patisserie skills yourself, as all exquisite Passiontree Velvet products are made by our professional pastry chefs in our central bakery.
