The Blackpool franchise is owned and run by Alex Hoskisson and Jonathan Stringer, who are from Lytham St Annes and Blackpool respectively. In order to learn the ‘Oltco way’ and mirror the business’ success in Blackpool, Alex and Jonathan had in-depth training at Oltco’s head office in Newquay prior to opening the franchise. The training enabled the new franchise owners to develop extensive knowledge about the company’s range of unique, high quality products and gain specialist installation skills in order to replicate Oltco’s vision.

For those who match Oltco’s vision and ethos, the average investment is £15,000+VAT plus a £5,000+VAT marketing launch campaign per franchise. Oltco also expects a working capital of £25,000 to be considered for additional funds for vans, initial products, wages and additional marketing. This can be funded through savings, credit, or a bank loan. Oltco can offer support with this due to its partnership with NatWest who is supporting the business model and is keen to work with future franchisees.
After successfully being chosen through Oltco’s selection process, candidates will undertake two weeks of intensive training at the head office in Cornwall. The company offers all of its franchisees and employees full training and on-going support including installation and sales courses. This ensures each franchisee embraces the core values of the company which forms the foundation of Oltco’s success.
