Are you tired of the hustle and bustle of city life? Do you dream of a tranquil and picturesque setting, where you can not only live but also fulfill your entrepreneurial aspirations? Look no further! We have a well established (over 20 years) fish, chip and burger shop for sale in Grafton, NSW, nestled in the stunning Clarence Valley. Here's why for why moving to Grafton and buying our fish and chip shot would be a fantastic idea that will change your life:

1. Unrivalled Natural Beauty: Grafton is surrounded by breathtaking natural landscapes, including pristine rivers, national parks, and rolling hills. The Clarence River flows majestically through the town, offering opportunities for boating, fishing, and leisurely walks by the water. Imagine waking up every day to stunning views and the soothing sounds of nature.

2. Strong Community Spirit: Grafton is well known for its tight-knit community, where neighbours become friends and support one another. This sense of camaraderie creates an ideal environment for both personal and business relationships to thrive. As a small business owner, you'll benefit from word-of-mouth marketing and a loyal customer base that values local businesses. We certainly have benefitted from our time at this shop and have made many valuable connections.

3. Unique Business: Our shop is the only fish and chip shop in the town centre. (There is one other shop, over the bridge in South Grafton). Our shop has been in business for over 20 years and is very well known.

4. Quality of Life: The pace of life in Grafton is far more relaxed than in bustling cities - this is a massive understatement. This slower rhythm allows for a better work-life balance, giving you more time to enjoy the surroundings, spend time with family, and pursue hobbies. We originally moved here from Sydney, and our only regret is that we should have made the move 10 years earlier!

5. Tourism and Growth: Grafton's appeal as a tourist destination is growing steadily, thanks to its natural beauty, historic architecture, and charming markets. By operating a small business here, you can tap into the tourism industry's potential and provide unique experiences to visitors, contributing to the local economy while fulfilling your own entrepreneurial ambitions. The Jacaranda Festival, the Grafton Cup are just two examples of the tourist events in this amazing little town.

6. Affordable Living: Compared to many urban areas, Grafton offers a more affordable cost of living. This means your initial investment in both your business and your personal life will go further, allowing you to focus on business growth without being overwhelmed by high expenses. Plus you get more land for your dollar!

7. Making a Difference: As a small business owner, you can provide meaningful jobs that make a difference in people's lives, all while fostering a positive work environment. It's a great feeling!

8. Personal Fulfillment: Ultimately, moving to Grafton and buying a small business isn't just about financial success. It's about realizing a dream, embracing a fulfilling lifestyle, and making a lasting impact on a community that values your contributions.

The business itself is awesome. There is a team of three staff plus the owner who works at the shop. The shop is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner, but closes between 2:00pm and 4:30pm on weekdays. So there is definitely a work-life balance.

We use specially made Brioche buns for our burgers, which are regarded as the best in Grafton. We make our own patties and offer wraps and salads along with a comprehensive fish and chip menu. Whenever you mention our business name to a local, they smile and will say "The food is great!"
