Secondary building: A newly constructed stone and wood structure housing a 90m2 bunkhouse and a 2 car garage. The bunkhouse sleeps up to 16 guests in a unique dormitory space with mezzanine and includes a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, a living area, 2 bathrooms and 2 showers.
Both buildings incorporate double glazing and extensive insulation throughout. The lodge is an extremely energy efficient complex, enjoying a "low-energy" classification based on an energy study carried out by an independent agency using real data recorded over 3 years of operation (total energy consumption less than 50 kwh / m2 per year).
A large array of solar panels (both thermal and photovoltaic cells) integrated on the roof structure covers more than half of the total energy needs for the entire structure year round. Solar energy produces hot water, heating and electricity, and serves to heat the pool during the Summer season.
A full renovation of the heating system has just been completed (during April and May, 2018). Work included installation of two new high efficiency propane heaters and a redesign of the interface between the solar installation and the conventional heating system aimed at improving the productivity of the solar system. A custom designed computer program allows remote access (via Internet) to change desired temperatures in each zone of the lodge.

A beautiful campground with four "eco-yurts", custom designed huts built by local artisans. Each hut sleeps up to four guests (surface area 15 m2) and is built of wood with parquet floors, large windows, green roofs and fabric walls. The campground also includes a large picnic shelter (another green roofed wooden structure) and self composting toilets...
A large covered barbecue structure designed to cook outdoor meals for all lodge guests.
An outdoor terrace with a 8x4m solar heated pool and large wooden deck.
