As announced yesterday by the Acting Premier, several key adjustments have been made to Victorias COVID restrictions. The following changes are effective from 11:59pm today, Thursday 17th June:
Face coverings must be worn indoors (except at home) but are no longer required outdoors
Melbourne will no longer have a 25km travel limit
Travel between Melbourne and regional Victoria will be permitted
If you can work from home, you should continue to do so
Below are some of the changes effecting businesses in Metropolitan Melbourne:
Hospitality
Open for seated service only with maximum patron cap of 150 per venue with no more than 75 indoors
Venues may have up to 25 patrons before the density quotient applies
Accommodation
Open with bookings permitted for single households plus two adults (and their dependents)
Real Estate Services
Auctions permitted with maximum patron cap of 50 outdoors
Inspections permitted to maximum of 10, subject to density quotient of 1 person per 4sqm
