Expansion potential:

The area in question has many high & low-rise apartment blocks with many common areas. Approaching body corporates and offering quotes to clean these areas is an aspect of our business we have not developed and offers opportunity for a huge increase in turnover. Real estate agencies' referrals of the cleaning of tenanted property and the commercial opportunities in the area are also waiting to be developed.

Competition / Market:

You will receive a dedicated area, designated by post codes. Strict restrictions apply to other Electrodry Franchises operating in your area. As our main cleaning product is patented, no other company can clean carpets the way we can.

Support & training:

The Franchisor has a large operation in Newcastle. There is a dedicated Franchise Development Manager for Queensland who is available to help in all aspects of this business. If you choose, you may run your own advertising campaigns in addition to the TV, brochure distribution, website promotion etc that is already in place. As this is an established area, you will find you receive as much work from repeat customers as new ones. Training consists of a minimum of 3 days at Head Office as well as "hands on" training in Brisbane.

Reasons for selling:

We own two Electrodry franchises - the one on offer and another which covers the area where we live and run our operation from. We are only selling the one which is further away from our base so we can concentrate our efforts on developing the closer one. We're also considering buying another franchise area which directly borders our current area.

Trading hours:

Monday - Saturday 8am to approximately 5pm. Saturday is optional.
